The body of Dalbert Aposhian was found in 1933. The autopsy report said he had been mutilated with a knife that was known to be issued to sailors and had bled to death before he was thrown in the water and sodomized. The medical examiner also reported finding semen on the body. Aposhian, a minister's son, was missing for six days when four Navy sailors found his body in July 1933. His genitals, lips, fingers, and eyes, were missing, which sent the city into panic.

Thomas Crane Wales worked for the Western District of Washington as an Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) for over 18 years, prosecuting white collar crime cases on behalf of the United States of America. At about 10:40 p.m. on October 11, 2001, Thomas Crane Wales was killed in his home in Seattle, Washington. It is believed that the shooter stood in the backyard of AUSA Wales' home and shot him several times through a basement window as he sat at his desk typing on his computer. It has been reported that a lone male suspect was seen fleeing the scene.

In November 1993, six year old Peggy Irene Chappell's body was discovered in a dilapidated garage behind a large abandoned house approximately 75 yards from her residence in Birmingham Alabama. Her body was wrapped in three green plastic garbage bags. She was nude with her clothes folded in the bags. She had suffered a blow to the head and her throat had been slit.

On October 29, 1992, California Fire Department Officials responded to a report of an explosion at a residence in Long Beach. Upon arrival, fire officials discovered the front door of the residence open and flames coming from the windows. Inside the residence, officials found the body of Sherry Carey lying face down on the bed in one of the rear After the victim was pulled from her home, it was determined that she had been brutally murdered. Her body showed evidence of blunt force trauma, strangulation, and multiple stab wounds.

Charles, age 8, and Jennifer, age 6, Chia exited their school bus near their residence at the Timber Hills apartment complex in Southwest Reno, Nevada at approximately 3:20 PM on October 18th, 1989. After exiting the bus they walked across the street with a friend and were last seen walking toward their apartment. On July 25, 1990 the skeletal remains of Charles and Jennifer Chia were discovered in a shallow grave next to Highway 70 in Plumas County, California, which is approximately 50 miles from Reno, Nevada.

Denise Lynn Russell, an 18-year-old enrolled member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe, and several friends attended a party at a residence west of Busby, Montana, on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation on May 2nd, 1997. After Russell reportedly became upset, she left the party and began walking east on U.S. Highway 212, near Busby, Montana. She was last seen between the hours of 4:00 pm and 5:30 pm.

The remains of Denise Lynn Russell, were found in rural Powder River County, Montana on September 29, 1997. This area is approximately fifty miles from where Russell was last seen. U.S. Highway 212 is a two lane road that connects Billings, Montana, with the Black Hills, South Dakota area. The highway also passes through the Crow Indian Reservation and the Northern Cheyenne Reservation. The area around Busby is heavily traveled by semi-trucks. Denise Lynn Russell was last seen wearing oversized blue jeans, a light colored t-shirt, and hiking boots. She is described as an 18-year-old Native American female belonging to the Northern Cheyenne Tribe, 5'7", 130 pounds, with brown, shoulder-length hair and green eyes.

At approximately 11:30 p.m. on June 8th, 2003, Hector Rivera, Jr., was driving a white 2002 GMC Envoy in the area of Calquohoun, St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands. Sitting in the front passenger seat of the vehicle was Rivera's girlfriend. Unidentified individuals began firing assault rifles into Rivera's vehicle while it was entering an intersection close to the residence of the girlfriend. Rivera's girlfriend was critically wounded, but survived and Rivera was killed.

Dannarriah Finley was last seen in the bedroom of her home in Orange, Texas on the morning of July 4, 2002. She was reported missing later that afternoon. It is unknown whether she was abducted from her bedroom or from outside of the residence. On July 8th, 2002, Finley's body was discovered in an isolated area on Pleasure Island in Port Arthur, Texas, which is approximately 27 miles from her residence. Dannarriah Finley was last seen wearing a white floral shirt and purple shorts. She wore her hair in braids.

Tammy Zywicki left for college located in Grinnell, Iowa from Evanston, Illinois, on August 23.1992. She was supposed to arrive that evening. Zywicki's car was found abandoned later that day by an Illinois State Trooper . The Illinois State Police towed the vehicle on Aug 24, 1992. Zywicki's mother reported that her Daughter had not arrived at college to the Illinois State Police later that same evening.
